You must fill out a form to receive food, but rest assured: your information will never be shared — not with anyone, for any reason, unless legally required by court order.

Simply Angels & Sunny Bear Rescue Community Food Drive
Join us for a powerful morning of giving back.
Sunny Bear Rescue is proud to once again partner with Simply Angels, a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to feeding homebound veterans and veterans in need. Together, we are hosting a Community Food Drive to support both our nation’s heroes and the pets who bring them comfort and companionship.
We're asking our incredible community to open their hearts and lend a hand by donating the following:
Needed Items:
Nonperishable food items
Canned goods (with pop tops if you are able)
Pet food of all kinds (cat, kitten, dog, and puppy — dry or wet)
How Your Donation Helps:
Every item you give will directly impact the lives of local homebound veterans, families struggling to feed their beloved pets, and rescue animals in our care waiting for forever homes. A simple can of soup could warm the belly of a veteran. A bag of puppy chow could keep a dog from being surrendered to a shelter. You can make that difference.
How to Give:
Please stop by and drop off your donations in person during the event hours (9 AM – 12 PM). Our volunteers will be there to greet you, collect your items, and share more about how your generosity is helping the community.
Bonus: Meet Some Adorable Faces!
Weather permitting, Sunny Bear Rescue is planning to bring a couple of our available dogs so you can meet them in person! Whether you're thinking about adopting or just want some puppy kisses while you drop off your donations, we’d love to introduce you to a few of our lovable residents.
